What kinds of memories can I create?
When you create a memory, you'll be asked to choose a memory type. Think of these as categories that help you capture different parts of your life story. Paige offers 18 memory types to choose from:
- Friends & Neighbors
- Weddings & Anniversaries
- Love & Partnership
- Travel & Adventures
- Kids & Parenting
- Passions, Hobbies & Creativity
- Career & Work Life
- Life Lessons & Thoughts of Gratitude
- Growing Up & Family Life
- Challenges, Resilience & New Beginnings
- Life Milestones
- Other Memories and Thoughts
- Family Legacy & History
- Holidays, Traditions & Ceremonies
- Faith & Philosophies
- School & Education
- Retirement
- How I'd Like to Be Remembered
Not sure which category fits?Just choose the one that feels closest, there's no wrong answer. Or, you can use Other Memories and Thoughts if something doesn't quite fit elsewhere.
What can I include in a memory?
Each memory can be thought of as a small, personal time capsule. When creating one, you can include:
- A title to name the memory
- A date indicating when the memory took place
- A written note or message — your words, your way
- Photos or videos to bring the memory to life
Not sure where to start with your writing? Paige offers guided prompts based on the memory type you select. Each prompt is a gentle nudge to help you get your thoughts flowing. You can add a prompt directly to your notes or skip it entirely — it's just there if you want it.
Who can I share a memory with?
When you're ready to share, you can choose any contact from your Paige contact list. You decide who receives each memory, it can be one person or several.
When can a memory be delivered?
Sharing a memory doesn't have to mean sending it right now. Paige gives you flexibility over the timing. When sharing a memory, you can choose from four delivery options:
|
Delivery Option |
What it means |
|
Immediately |
The memory is shared with your selected contacts right away. |
|
Later |
You schedule a specific future date for the memory to be delivered. |
|
Delegates can trigger |
Your designated delegate decides when the time is right to send it. |
|
After-death / in case of emergency |
The memory is only delivered upon your passing or in an emergency situation. |
The After-death / in case of emergency option requires that you have at least one delegate set up in your account.
Can I keep a memory just for myself?
Absolutely. You don't have to share a memory when you create it. Saving a memory without selecting any contacts means it stays private in your account — think of it as your personal archive. You can always come back and share it later when you feel ready.
Your memories are yours. Sharing them is always your choice, but remember, your delegates will receive read-only access to your entire account after your passing.
A note on what memories are for
Memories can be viewed as more than just a record of the past. They can be thought of as a gift — a way of saying I was here, this mattered, and I want you to carry a piece of it with you. Whether it's a funny story about a road trip, the advice you'd give your younger self, or simply how you'd like to be remembered, Paige is here to help you find the words and pass them on.
