Adding a Business to Your Profile
Whether you run a small business with employees to protect or a side hustle with clients who rely on you, Paige gives you a place to keep your business details organized and accessible, so the right people can find what they need.
Why this matters. When something unexpected happens, the people helping settle your affairs may have no idea what businesses you own, what your ownership stake is, or where to find key documents. Adding your business to Paige can help take that burden off their plate.

Once your business is added, head over to your Documents section. Under the By Category view, you'll find a category called Business Ownership, this is where you can upload things like:
- Operating agreements or partnership agreements
- Business licenses and registrations
- Buy-sell agreements
- Tax documents
- Any other documentation tied to your ownership
Keeping things connected. Think of your Business profile entry and your Business Ownership documents as a pair. The profile captures the key details at a glance, and the documents section is where the supporting paperwork lives. Together, they give a full picture to anyone who may need it.
Common Questions
"Can I add more than one business?"
Yes. If you have ownership stakes in multiple businesses, you can add each one separately. Just return to the Business section and click + Add again for each additional business.
"What if I only own a small percentage of a business?"
It's still worth adding it. Even a minority ownership stake can have implications for your estate. A best practice is to document what you own, however large or small, so the people managing your affairs have the full picture.
"Do I have to add my EIN?"
No. The EIN field is optional. That said, it can be an important piece of information for executors or family members to have, so adding it is a good idea.
"Can I upload a business logo?"
Yes. At the top of the Add Business form, there's a logo placeholder with a camera icon. You can tap or click it to upload an image.
