Adding Business Documents to Your Profile
If you've added a business to your Paige profile, you can store related documents right alongside it, things like your operating agreement, EIN confirmation letter, partnership agreements, or any other paperwork tied to your business. Keeping these in one place means the people you trust will know exactly where to look when it matters most.
This article is for users who have already added at least one business to their Paige profile. If you haven't done that yet, start there first — your business needs to exist in Paige before you can attach documents to it.

Two Ways to Get There
There are two ways to start adding business documents. Both lead to the same place, so you can use whichever feels most natural.
Option 1: From the Business Page
- From your dashboard, select Business in the top navigation.
- Locate the business you'd like to add documents to.
- In the top right corner of the business info card, click the document icon (it looks like a folder with a small star or badge).
- This will take you directly into the document upload flow, with your business pre-selected.
Option 2: From the Documents Page
- From your dashboard, select Documents in the top navigation.
- Navigate to the Business Ownership category, or select + Upload / the upload icon next to any document slot.
- When prompted to assign a category, select Business Ownership from the dropdown.
- Complete the upload as you normally would.
Uploading Your Document
Whether you arrived from the Business page or the Documents page, the upload process works the same way.
- Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click Choose Files to browse your device.
- Select or confirm the category as Business Ownership.
- Choose the specific document type from the list (for example: operating agreement, EIN documentation, buy-sell agreement, etc.).
- Once your file appears in the upload area, click Save to store it.
When your document uploads successfully, you'll see it appear in the Business Ownership category under Documents. A green confirmation banner at the top of the screen will confirm the save.
You can upload multiple files at once. If you have several business documents to add, there's no need to go through the process one at a time — just select all relevant files in the upload window.
What Can You Upload Here?
The Business Ownership category is designed to cover the kinds of paperwork that would be important for continuing or transitioning your business. You know your business best, so be sure to include other critical documents that are not in the prompts as well. Some examples of what you might consider storing include:
- Operating agreement or partnership agreement
- Articles of incorporation or organization
- EIN (Employer Identification Number) confirmation letter
- Buy-sell agreement
- Business succession plan
- Business insurance policy
Not sure what to upload? Think about what someone — a trusted family member, a business partner, or an executor — would need to locate, identify, and manage your business if you weren't available to walk them through it. Those are the documents worth storing here.
Sharing Business Documents with Someone You Trust
Once a document is uploaded, you have the option to share it with a delegate or another contact directly from the Documents page. Look for the share icon (an arrow pointing up and to the right) that appears next to any uploaded file.
Sharing can give the right people access to exactly what they need — without having to hunt through paper files or guess where things are stored.

Common Questions
"What if I don't see the document icon on my business card?"
If the document icon isn't visible on your business info card, try refreshing the page. If you're still not seeing it, navigate to Documents directly from the top menu and look for the Business Ownership category — you can upload from there. If neither option is working, reach out to our support team at help@go-paige.com.
"Can I remove or replace a document after uploading it?"
Yes. Navigate to the Business Ownership section under Documents, find the file you'd like to update, and use the available options to replace or manage it. If you need help with this, our team is happy to walk you through it.
