How to Delete a Business
Sometimes a business entry no longer needs to be part of your plan. Maybe the business has closed, was entered by mistake, or things have simply changed. Whatever the reason, removing it from Paige is straightforward.
This article walks you through how to delete a business you've added to your Business page.

Before You Delete
A couple of things worth considering first:
- Did you mean to edit it instead? If the business details have changed, like a new address or updated ownership percentage, you may want to update the entry rather than delete it. Look for the pencil icon on the business card to make edits.
- Is this business referenced in your documents or will? You’ll want to review those details after making significant changes to your plan, to make sure everything still reflects your wishes.
How to Delete a Business
- From the main navigation, select Business.
- Locate the business entry you'd like to remove.
- In the top right corner of the business card, click the trash bin icon (🗑️).
- A confirmation prompt will appear. Review it to make sure you've selected the correct business.
- Confirm the deletion to permanently remove the business from your profile.
Once deleted, the business will no longer appear on your Business page. If you need to add it back in the future, you can always do so by clicking + Add in the top right corner of the Business page.
Common Questions
"Can I recover a deleted business?"
At this time, deleted businesses cannot be recovered. A best practice is to save the details — such as the business name, EIN, ownership percentage, and contact info — somewhere outside of Paige before deleting, just in case you need them later.
"What's the difference between the icons on my business card?"
The three icons in the top right corner of each business card each serve a different purpose:

"Will deleting a business affect my will or other documents?"
Deleting a business from the Business page removes it from that section of your profile only. It does not automatically update your will or any documents you've already created. A best practice is to review those after making significant changes, to make sure everything still reflects your current wishes.
