# How to Edit a Business
Businesses evolve. Whether your ownership percentage has shifted, you've moved locations, or you need to correct a detail, here's how to keep your business information current in Paige.

#### **Finding Your Business Entry**
1. From any page in Paige, select **Business** in the top navigation bar. This will take you to your Business page at `app.go-paige.com/business`.
2. Locate the business entry you'd like to update. If you have more than one business added, scroll through the list to find the right one.
3. Click the **pencil icon** on the business entry you want to edit.
The pencil icon is how you'll edit most things in Paige and you'll find it on contacts, your account profile, and now here on your business entries too. If you're not seeing it, make sure you're looking at an entry you've already saved.
#### **Making Your Updates**
Once inside the edit form, you can update any of the following:
- **Business logo** — tap the camera icon on the logo placeholder to upload or replace an image
- **Name** — the legal or operating name of your business
- **Ownership %** — your ownership stake, expressed as a percentage
- **Type** — the **[business entity type](https://resources.go-paige.com/important-terms#business-entity-type)** (S-Corp, LLC, C-Corp, Sole Proprietorship, or Other)
- **Phone** — a contact number associated with the business
- **EIN** — your [**Employer Identification Number**](https://resources.go-paige.com/important-terms#ein), if applicable
- **Address** — the business's physical location
When you've finished making changes, click **Save**. If you'd like to discard your changes, click **Cancel**.
Once saved, your updated information will be reflected immediately on your Business page. Your [**delegate**](https://resources.go-paige.com/important-terms#delegate) will see the most current version when they access the information you've shared with them.
#### **A Quick Note on Keeping Business Info Current**
Your business details are part of the bigger picture of your **legacy plan**. Be sure to revisit this section any time something significant changes such as a new address, a change in ownership structure, or the addition of a co-owner. Keeping it current means your loved ones and delegates won't be left guessing.
If your business ownership or structure has changed significantly — such as taking on a new partner or converting to a different entity type — it's worth considering whether your will or other estate planning documents also need to reflect those changes.
