Getting to Your Messages

Because clicking Messages in the top navigation takes you directly to the message creation form, getting to your list of saved messages takes one small extra step.

  1. Click Messages in the top navigation bar.
  2. Once the Create Message form loads, look for the ← Messages breadcrumb link near the top of the page.
  3. Click it to go back to your full messages list.

Heads up: The Messages section opens directly to a new message form by default. The breadcrumb is the quickest way to get back to your list of saved messages.

Finding the Message You Want to Edit

Once you're on the Messages listing page, you'll see your saved messages displayed. Look through the list to find the one you'd like to update.

Opening a Message to Edit
  1. Locate the message you want to update in your list.
  2. Click the pencil (edit) icon on the right side of that message's row.
  3. The message will open in an editable form — the same layout you used when you first created it.

Making Your Changes

Once the message is open, you can update any part of it such as the content, the type, the subject, or the delivery details.

Updating message content

Make any changes you'd like directly in the text editor. You can revise the subject, rewrite the body of your message, and add or remove any attached photos or videos.

Updating contacts or delivery timing

To change who receives the message or when it's sent, click Select contacts and schedule. This opens the SHARE YOUR MESSAGE menu where you can:

  • Choose a different contact (or add additional ones)
  • Update the send timing. For example, switching from Immediately to After-death/in case of emergency, or adjusting a scheduled future date

If your message was already sent with a timing of Immediately, it has already been delivered and a copy may still appear in your list for reference. Editing and resaving will not re-send it. It's a best practice to review your send timing before saving any changes.

Saving Your Changes

When you're happy with your edits, click Save Message at the bottom of the form. You'll see a green confirmation banner letting you know your changes were saved successfully.

A green banner reading "Saved — Your changes have been saved successfully." means everything went through. You're all set.
