Finding the Password You Want to Change

Before you can edit or delete, you'll need to locate the right entry. The Passwords, Pins, and Codes page gives you a couple of ways to do that quickly.

  1. Navigate to Passwords in the top menu bar.
  2. Use the "Find a password" search bar to type the name, title, or site associated with the entry you're looking for.
  3. Optionally, use the Account Type dropdown to filter by category — Financial Account, Home Service, Device, or Digital Account — to narrow things down.
  4. Once you spot the entry in the list, you're ready to take action.

Try using a keyword from the title you gave the entry when you first added it — that's usually the quickest way to find it.

Editing a Password

If the details for an account have changed, such as a new password, updated username, or different website address, here's how to update the entry.

  1. Find the entry you want to update (see steps above).
  2. Click the pencil (edit) icon on the right side of that entry's row.
  3. The entry will open in an editable form. Update any fields you need to change:
    • Title
    • Website Address
    • Username
    • Password (use the show/hide toggle to check what's currently saved)
    • Notes
    • Any attached files or images
  4. When you're done, click Save.

Once you click Save, your changes are stored immediately and securely. There's no separate confirmation step. If the page returns to your passwords list without an error, your update went through.

Double-check the password field before saving, especially if you're copying and pasting. The field masks characters by default. Use the show/hide toggle to confirm what's entered is correct.

Deleting a Password

If an account no longer exists, or you no longer want it stored in Paige, you can remove it at any time.

  1. Find the entry you want to remove (see the steps in the "Finding the Password" section above).
  2. Click the trash (delete) icon on the right side of that entry's row.
  3. A confirmation prompt will appear — confirm that you want to delete the entry.
  4. The entry will be permanently removed from your Passwords page.

Deletion is permanent. Once a password entry is removed, it can't be recovered, only re-entered. If you're unsure, consider editing the entry instead. You can update the notes field to flag it as outdated, rather than deleting it entirely.

Common Questions

"Can my delegate see my passwords?"

Your delegate will only have access to the information you've specifically shared with them — and passwords cannot be shared. Once a passing has been verified, then the delegates will receive read-only access to the passwords that were saved.

"What if I don't see the edit or delete icons?"

If the icons aren't visible, try scrolling to the right within the password entry row — on smaller screens, some action buttons may be slightly out of view. If you're still having trouble, reach out to our team and we'll help.
